Service Overview
Renovation is an argument about what to keep. We begin with a measured and opening-up survey so the argument is settled with evidence rather than instinct, then design the changes the building can actually carry. Demolition is the last option, not the first move.
Design Philosophy
Old buildings are usually right about something — an orientation, a ceiling height, a wall in the correct place. Our job is to find that one thing and build the new work around it rather than over it.

Who We Serve
Owners of period houses that no longer work, buyers who have inherited a poor previous extension, and organisations converting a building to a use it was never designed for. All of them arrive with a structure and a constraint rather than a blank plot.
Key Features & Innovations
Measured and opening-up survey before design
Structural appraisal of what can be removed
Retention plan agreed in writing at the start
Breathable build-ups for solid-wall construction
Damp and thermal strategy designed together
Listed and conservation consent handled in-house
Embodied-carbon comparison against rebuilding
Phased delivery so the building can stay occupied

Outcome & Client Experience
The best compliment a renovation gets is that nobody can tell where the old work stops. On average we retain sixty per cent of the original fabric and still deliver a building that performs like a new one.
